I’ve been interviewed by many radio station DJs. Even though the subject of being in a relationship with a borderline is pretty serious, there were frequent interruptions for commercials. Somehow, the interviews many times left me feeling as if I hadn’t clearly delivered my message to the listeners as to how incredibly confusing – and painful – a relationship with a Borderline can be.

However, my interview with Deborah Harper of Psychjourney was completely different. With no breaks for commercials, we were able to continue deeper into the subject, one question leading to an answer, which brought up another question and yet another answer. We covered how people are drawn into Borderline relationships, how the relationship progresses, and what happens emotionally and psychologically to the partner, plus many other topics.

We also spoke about the new treatment modes that are available to people with Borderline Personality Disorder – if they’re willing to consider the possibility that they need help and are willing to reach for it.

And my thanks to Deborah, because in her soft-spoken way, she opened me up to say things I’d never said in other interviews. She did a good Barbara Walters number on me.
